Ergotech velocity analysis equipment installed - this will allow us to measure Vp, Vp at confining pressures of up to 10,000psi. It will also allow us to measure the static elastic properties of samples.

Wolfson laboratory is awarded £300,000 from the Royal Society Wolfson Laboratory Refurbishment Grant, along with matching funding the the University of Leeds this will allow us to expand the Sorby laboratory and build a temperature controlled area to allow us to measure the permeability of ultralow permeability rocks (<10 nD).
